The brilliant, powerful and indeed remarkable 2009 Les Pagodes de Cos interestingly has a higher proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend than the grand vin. The wine is incredibly opulent, concentrated and densely full-bodied, showing lots of black fruit and floral notes blended with gentle hints of barrel toast and spice, great richness, succulent, deliciously fresh with perfectly-structured tannins, great finesse, with a long elegantly intense finish.
