The fine quality fruit clearly reflects the terroir that echoes throughout all of Clos de Gat’s wines. Showing superb elegance and freshness in this its first vintage. The wine is a deep, claret red with discreet layers of aromatic, piquant flavours, along with hints of earthy, minerally elements that are not yet fully evolved. On the palate the wine is concentrated and robust, well-balanced with a well defined tannin structure. The finish is long, refined and complex.
